The most abundant source of water is the ocean where covers as 75% of the earth’s surface. But now, there is a problem of how to desalinize the water. There are several ways to desalinize water, all of which to desalinize water will be impractical for the modern world’s increasing use of fresh water. To obtain fresh water for use in the scale of today’s advanced usage of water. 
Before Hawaii became an exporting giant of deep ocean water, it had undergone the effects of the Arab oil embargo in 1974.
